God Help The Girl - Act of The Apostle

Finished watching God Help the Girl yesterday. Great movie, unexpectedly. Music was simply perfect. 

The movie was directed and written by one half of the musical duo, Belle & Sebastian. Naturally, the soundtrack's also by them. Kinda like this version more than Emily Browning's, although she does sing it fairly well too.

Just finished listening to the Great Gatsby soundtrack. Some hits and some misses, but I liked this one immediately. Turns out it was one of his older songs. Another song I liked was by Sia, 'Kill and Run'.

Now this song she wrote specially for the soundtrack. Sounds like the original Sia we all loved. There are also a couple of club tunes on the album though, excited to see how the songs will fit into the movie. 

Baz Lurhmann, I have faith in you. Moulin Rouge for the win.

Black Sheep performed by Brie Larson. AKA Envy Adams of The Clash at Demonhead. Soundtrack from Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Awesome movie, by the way.


Now here's the original version performed by Metric. Raw and filled with angst. Perfect.

I love this song. Just listen and you'll be hooked. Delena scenes always have the best music. Seriously. It's like they keep all the best songs for them on purpose! Cause that's the producers' top secret agenda.  That it's all gonna lead to this amazingly epic love story that's gonna span for seasons. Yep, seasons. Hopefully as long as Law and Order. The original one. Haha.
