Oh no think I'm gonna get trolled by all those non-mainstream hipsters. I'm liking this track especially after listening to the acoustic version. Far East Movement y'all. Not forgetting it features Travis Garland being perfect with his perfect falsettos. Don't hate on him for sounding like JT. Everyone's different and there's nothing wrong with having a similar style.

Voxtrot - The Start of Something

I simply have too much 'feels' for this one, seriously. Such a perfect feel good song to get your day started. Wonderfully written, though the lyrics are a bit dubious? Sounds like it's meant to be a hate poem written by a scorned lover or something. But still, great song that gets me up and running.

Jessie Ware - Running

One of the best songs I've heard in a long time. She sounds like a mix between Florence Welch and Elena from Daughter. 

Downloaded her album with no prior listens. Seriously I have never listened to any of her songs before this. Sounded like another Lana Del Rey to me to be honest. And I'm not a huge LDR fan so wasn't too enthusiastic.

Boy was I wrong. Her album is ah-mah-zing!

And this is my favourite off the deluxe edition. Love this acoustic version of Running.

Wham - Everything She Wants. Been listening to songs from the 80s. Think they had better songwriters those days. Our parents were so darn lucky, come to think of it. Heh. I mean, come on. This song is already almost two decades old but I still love it. 2 million people on Youtube love it. Plus, George Michael has the voice. No one sings it like he does.

Another classic that's been replaying non-stop in my head - Spandau Ballet's True.

I saw this on Skins and remembered how my mom used to blast this when I was younger. Brought back loads of childhood memories. Mixed tapes. Michael Jackson. Waiting for the music videos to appear on TV.

The Skins' version with the Britain Ukelele Orchestra. Nice.
