Forgotten how much I used to love them. Especially this song. Classic pop stuff.

Though NLT's still pretty awesome. In my opinion. Wee another song just leaked and it's real good. =) Too bad their album's not out yet. Yeah that's right. They have only released three official singles so far. Or two. LOL. So many songs have leaked I'm not sure which ones were official. Anyway if they ever come to Sg/Msia I'm so there. They sing well AND dance well. LIVE.


Oh yeah. Finally watched the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Whoa. That was a mouthful. Not bad. But I felt too many things were left out in the movie. Like Bridget's relationship with her archaeology professor. What's up with that? I mean, it was quite a big deal in the book. And they omitted Eric too. So many loopholes. My sisters were constantly referring to Bridget as Serena. Haha. Carmen looked better in this one though. Her Ugly Betty stint must have made her learn how not to be ugly. LOL. Tibby is well, Tibby. Exactly how I imagined her to be. I love her hair colour though. And Lena? Right out of the book. Beautiful, shy, romantic. I actually thought the movie was like one long One Tree Hill episode. Filled with substance. The actors still fare better on TV. Overall, 7/10.

Thursday:

Woo. Rihanna babeh. Skipped school today to finish all my packing. Finally managed to pack every single thing. Pesky pesky work. Had to finish everything before I went to fetch my sister from Changi. After that went off to Plaza Sing for some shopping. Which was pretty unproductive. Came back empty handed. Haha. Anyway, rushed back to hostel. You already know what for. ;) Pictures in next post.

Picked hanlyn up at around 7 plus at Kallang. So sorry for the wait Feet. My bad.
So...
How was concert? ABSOLUTELYAWESOME. She sings live. Period. No lip syncing or whatever nonsense. All her. And she was early! Impressed. Concert was scheduled to begin at 8 but she came on at 8.30-ish. Not bad, compared to Miss Avril who was one hour and 15 mins late. Bleh. Oh yeah, they didn't allow us to bring in our umbrellas! So not cool. I mean, her no. 1 hit is umbrella so they don't want us to steal her groove by having nicer umbrellas is it? 0.O

And yeah, she was considered to be early. She opened the show with Disturbia. Darn cool. She was standing high up on this pedestal thingy. Too cool for me to even describe. Feet and me were jumping like nobody's business. Haha.

DUM DUM DI DUM DUM DUM DI DUM DUM

Then eh, she doesn't seem to be singing. We could only hear the background music. Turns out her mic wasn't working. And it was the first song. Whoa. She was super pissed. But I still love her LOL. She has some attitude man. Went around the stage getting her fans to scream and stuff. So powerful la. She just has to raise her hands and everyone screams.

Then she got a new mic for her next song. She's seriously as pretty as she looks in her music videos. My sister was all OMG OMG IT'S RIHANNA. Haha. Me too la.

Anyway the concert was overall really entertaining. Had us on our feet most of the time. Very very danceable. Me likey. BUT. Yes, there's a but. Guess how long it lasted? 1 hour. %^&*
YEAH. ONLY ONE HOUR. That's like one lecture?! Everyone was going WTH after Umbrella. Quote : "Wahlau, where can like that one?!" I agree. -_-

So it ended around 9.30. !!! That's like much earlier than a regular kid's bedtime, right? Killed time by camwhoring. Camwhore camwhore then heard a lot of screams from one corner. So we ran there. Haha. Like crazy fans. Turns out people were waiting for Rihanna to leave. We waited together too. Yawn. Waited for ages. Entertained ourselves. Eg. When this guy with white hair and white beard came out, Feet went OMG IT'S SANTA CLAUSE! and started clapping. LOL.

LAWAK.

Didn't get to catch even a glimpse of her. Just her stretch limo. Haih. And that was it. The end.

PS. I think I saw Rihanna's no. 1 fan. Honestly. He knew EVERY SINGLE WORD to EVERY SONG. Brent no.2. Haha.

Friday:

Woke up early to show Brent all my concert videos. Which are currently being uploaded on youtube. =) He so funny. Asked me whether she was wearing a black bra. I said I doubt she even wore a bra. LOL.

Then went to TM with him and my sister. Had lunch at Popeye's after that. I'll miss Popeye's. Beats BK, KFC and Mcd hands down. Picked my mom up at around 2.45. Went back to hostel. Met Brent again. Introduced everyone. Then my mom was like, why don't you join us? =) So we went to Bugis together. Shopshopshop. Gonna miss shopping in Singapore. A lot. Oh well. Penang's still home to me.

Left at around 10.15. Knocked out pretty early. Had a long day ahead.

Saturday - yesterday:
Mom's birthday! Surprised her with a card. =) Checked out early to catch our flight at 11.05. And BAM I'm back. What was the first thing I did when I came back? SLEEP. Haha. Was so exhausted. All the late nights finally caught up on me. And so I slept like a pig. Nice.

Today:
Blogging time. And this is the result. Hehe.

I don't know why but I just can't help falling into this whole High School Musical fever. It happened with the first two movies and now the third one. Haha. I still remember being completely obsessed with the first soundtrack. Simply addictive. And hey it was an enjoyable movie. No doubt about that. I actually went on the official site everyday to see if there were any new videos. Yeah I was THAT obsessed. =)

And I would be telling my friends about this new Disney movie which looks good and they'll be all HUH-ing me. Look how big this HSM phenomenon is now. Like WHOA. Camp Rock's nothing compared to HSM. No offence to JoBro fans.

Instant fame. Just like that. And remember Zac didn't even sing for the first one. And even after the whole Vanessa scandal the franchise is still going strong. In fact, I think it just got even better. The third one's gonna be a blast.

Ooh. If you still didn't know, Britney's back.

Womanizer. haha. I just find it amusing for her first single to be called that. Dang I can't find a nice picture to entertain you people. Oh well. Btw her latest album's called Circus. Out of all names. Oh Britney, you never fail to entertain us. Haha.

Kill The Lights is good. I mean, they don't even have the full song on the net yet. What I have is the instrumental version and it's already GOOD.

And oh yeah! Rihanna's coming to Singapore! Nov 13! Before I go back! Sweet.

Heard this new band called Melee. In the words of Barney, AWESOME. Very Rooney-ish. Me likey. Debated with my mom over whether they were British or American. I won. ha. I mean, don't they sound pure American to you? British bands have this certain type of sound. You just know they're British. Let's take Phantom Planet (American) and um, McFly(?) (British). Phantom Planet's music is very laidback, the kind that you hear in movie scenes when there are roadtrips.

California... Californiaaaaaaa... Caaaaaaa

On the other hand, McFly's very very shouty. They shout and shout and shout. They hardly SING. Except in "All About You", which is the only song I think is pretty decent (sorry Mcfly fans).

ANYWAY. Melee rocks. Still don't know how to pronounce it though. Gotta youtube them.

Another song which is stuck in my head (and going to be for another few more days) is Peter Bjorn and John - Young Folks. The annoying song with the whistling. Yep. That's the one.
I found out that the song is pretty overused. They have it in every show. There's even a youtube video that shows how much it is overplayed. Gossip Girl, How I Met Your Mother, Grey's A., blahblahblah. My dad was watching a movie called 21 and there it goes again. The real addictive whistling tune.

For those of you who didn't read my previous blog, then I should probably warn you first.

I'm a serious music junkie.

I loveeeee music. Are the E's not enough?

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee music. There.

So there would be times when I can't stop listening to a particular song and just HAVE to blah about it here. At least I'm helping to spread the love for music, right?

I've been on a wild goose hunt for this song I've heard about a month ago during Valentine's Day. And I still can't find it. Darn. I go insane when I don't know the song I'm listening to. Like, OCD - insane.
